Global Project Manager
The role is a remote position with the corporate office based in Miami, FL
This role oversees all real estate activities including market planning for new office spaces, reinvestment needs of existing offices, and managing the portfolio of existing offices. The Global PM will manage the execution of the market plans through the procurement of locations, relocation and disposal of existing locations, and lease renegotiations and other portfolio management of existing properties. The Global RE PM will be responsible for the day to day oversight of all real estate projects. This role will report to the head of Global Administration. Additionally, this role will manage and implement best practices and procedures throughout the global portfolio.
Required for of scalability of Global Facilities/Real Estate organization.
Job Description
• Improvement of our existing portfolio of properties through lease negotiations for additional tenure, shorter current term and reduced rents, and also manages property dispositions, other miscellaneous property issues
• Manages the flow of real estate transactions by coordinating the efforts of others (Real Estate Brokers, Legal and Operations)
• Management and development of real estate processes.
• Working with local leads to ensure business cases are prepared for council and approved
• Ensuring overall strategy and guidelines are implemented
• Ensuring appropriate coverage for all project management. i.e. can we use pm locally or do we need to outsource
• Liaising with local legal and brokers to ensure leases are reviewed and in line with global standards
• Oversight of budget and schedule adherence
• Ensure Proper Communication of Local Decision Makers and Local Project Management
• Ensure adherence of best practices and procedures
• Chair status meeting with all Local teams as needed to ensure proper communication of all real estate activities
• Manage all real estate documentation
• First point of escalation for all issues
• Track yearly spend, cost saves and capital plan budget management.
