Position summary
The Recruiter is responsible for identifying strong and best fit candidates for our clients as quickly and economically as possible. Screens candidates resume, analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee’s application, conduct a personal interview and testing, and determines the suitability of the applicant in order to refer applicants to clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Build applicant sources that create a qualified and diverse candidates pool by researching internet sites and media, contacting colleges and other recruiting agencies.
Searches potential candidates and attracts them by placing advertisements using job board posting, searching database, cold-calling and emailing.
Develop a network with candidates, building strong relationships. Follows up their status for preparing quick action for new openings.
Understands position roles, studies job descriptions and job qualifications for screening matched candidate.
Evaluates applicants by interviewing, explaining positions, analyzing responses, discussing requirements and comparing applicants’ qualifications to job requirements. Negotiates with the applicants with professional manner if needed.
Reports screened information with recommended points to sales reps/hiring managers. Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules, giving applicants all necessary information accordingly.
Maintains job application processes, keeps recording candidates’ profiling, resume, status and hiring information as well as manages/maintains position progresses in PCR, updates Takumi job web site contents; developing rapport with database/job boards’ venders.
Prepares updated background check and application form for new applicants. Explains them how to fill out and why required.
Prepares candidate/position reports, analyzes, and summarizes data and trends for position meeting.
Updates job knowledge for technical specifics, immigration and employment Law and share them to the team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws, Immigration Law.
Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English and Japanese language.
Basic IT skills (MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Internet Search, Job board: LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, Dice, CareerBuilder. Calendar applications, Communication tools; Skype, WhatsApp, facetime, chat recruiter, etc.)
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications and computer science, or relevant work experience.
Experience: Two years proven work experience in staffing, IT or service industries. Sales experience is a big plus.
