Carvechi Technology is hiring for a System access administrator with experience in People Soft administration
Support the security function by validating system access requests for appropriate controls and approvals. Ensure proper access and usability, while maintaining and understanding the controls around access which support compliance regulations. Create, modify and delete user account profiles for various systems applications used across the business throughout the system security lifecycle.
Monitor departmental mailbox queue for access and termination requests. Assess and validate access request against pre-established approvals matrix and the documentation outlining conflicting roles. Grant access rights based on matrix and proper approvals system. Grant access to resources, service desk contacts and VPN portal for vendors and team members.
Analyze and monitor access on various business systems and applications, including creation, deletion and modification of access within business roles and groups, as required. Determine the risks associated with the access and highlight any risks to management.
Review monthly and quarterly user access reports. Obtain report approval from business units and data owners of key financial systems for review and user access validation.
Serve as point of contact for the application security provisioning function. Participate in related meetings to understand new applications and the process of access administration.
Create, document and maintain procedures to properly and efficiently manage user access.
The position will be required to make decisions quickly without management involvement if there is an immediate risk to production due to system access. Problem resolution can be a daily requirement for all team members. Access includes but is not limited to the creation and maintenance of: Active Directory user and group accounts, mailboxes, distribution lists, Oracle 10, PeopleSoft, MAPS, MXP and Oasis, and any other application assigned by management. Works closely with Internal Audit and each business unit in an effort to support requests for audits and ensure security compliance and appropriate monitoring of access controls and reviews.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of experience, training, skills and/or certifications.
EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience in IT security administration or similar role with a focus on identity and access management. Most have PeopleSoft administration experience.
