We are hiring a senior SAP Business Analyst with experience in SAP HANA to work with customers in the Sport & Entertainment Industry on our Analytics platform PaaSage.
Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to document business processes and complex technical specifications. Develop training documentation and content for software platforms. Meets with users, project leaders and management to discuss and plan guidelines and criteria for documentation of a system, program, project plan, and timelines.
The ability to create effective documents that are clear, succinct, accurate, and appropriately detailed.
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs.
Ability to understand the root-cause of complex problems , research and propose possible solutions both in scope of Greenheck systems and other available technology. Test and identify best solution, create solution document and describe/sell chosen solution.
Creation of moderately complex, to complex technical design specifications from functional requirements including: system use case diagrams, data flow diagrams, system design models, pseudo code, etc. Programming knowledge is required. Minimal interaction with programmer should be necessary during development.
Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects within their area of expertise. Ability to establish project priorities and deadlines.
Has strong interpersonal skills that help build strong relationships with coworkers and customers. Is able to effectively resolve conflicts. Is able to train others on complex tasks and concepts. Is able to make formal presentations to others in IT and the business. Is able to constructively offer feedback and ideas for improvements in processes, systems, and areas of a technical nature.
May have indirect supervision over small to medium-sized project teams. May provide mentoring for other employees.
Four year degree with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience or a two year degree with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience. Experience with SAP Hana.
